Basically, it relates to the part in the game where Swaine's father dies, and he locks himself in his room for several days.
In an AU sense, Oliver decides to try to comfort him since 1) he knows the feeling, and 2) he's a nice kid like that. After talking a while, they fall asleep, the young wizard staying the night with the thief (aww!).
I thought about coloring this... but after working with a couple other pictures, I didn't want to screw up the picture.

This is nice. 
Seeing Oliver in Swaine's arms as they share a moment amidst a mutual feeling is very touching. While I would've liked to see more of this in the game, I feel somehow that it belongs here in a sea of ideas from the fans that have a certain affection for the story and characters.
